We are so confident that OSS collars will be the best collars you will ever own, that every collar is guaranteed 100%, or your money back.

These collars are made with the highest quality materials and are all "made to order", so you can have the fun of picking out the webbing color, buckle color, buckle type (metal or plastic), leash length, etc. It is virtually, a build your own collar dog collar store!

All new designs are thoroughly tested, using shelter dogs for our "trial" period. These consist mostly of Bully Dog Breeds because of their sheer strength and determination. A product must be thoroughly tested, and evaluated for the utmost quality, durability, and strength, before it can be offered on our store.

My first rescue dog was a Pit Bull named Oxford, so this is my opportunity to give back to dog shelters, particularly Bully Breeds, in addition to the work I do as a Licensed Vet Tech and an instructor of the Vet Tech Program at my local college.

About

After 25 successful years in the banking industry, Cheryl decided to retire and relocate to Southern Delaware. Being a devoted animal lover to all kinds of pets; parrots, rabbits and hedgehogs, Cheryl decided to take that passion and pursue a degree as a Veterinary Technician. After she enrollment at Delaware Community College, Cheryl decided it was time to adopt a new breed of animal, a dog. When she arrived at the Georgetown, DE SPCA she was a taken aback by about the amount of pit bulls available; a bread Cheryl herself feared.

After a little prodding, the shelter favorite, a pit bull named Oxford, went home with Cheryl for a “trial stay”. Oxford was formidable, black and 75 pounds of impressive muscle. He was also the new love of Cheryl’s life. They were soon inseparable and for the next 2 ½ years, Oxford enjoyed dinners at the beach, swimming in the ocean, endless car rides and friendly errands around town. His life was what every dog dreamed of.

Sadly, before Oxford’s 10 th birthday, he succumbed to an aggressive cancer known as ‘Histiocytic Sarcoma’. Through her grief, Cheryl realized there was no better way to honor Oxford’s life than to start an endeavor to help shelter dogs, and Oxford’s Sew and Sew was born.

Oxford’s Sew and Sew enriches the lives of shelter animals and other non-profit wildlife organizations by donating proceeds to help animals find foster homes and provide help with medical treatment, medications and preventatives.
